"Beautiful harmonies, fine songwriting" - Paul Moss, BBC Introducing
An award-winning, earthy blend of English folk and American roots, with tight-as-blood harmony flowing through its veins...
Hailing from the Gloucestershire countryside, Americana Folk duo The Black Feathers are excited to announce the release of their debut 5-track EP, Strangers We Meet.

The Black Feathers is the result of a combination of English Folk influences, some Irish heritage and a large splash of Americana inspiration and rock sensibilities, all held together with close Bluegrass harmonies.
The twin voices and one guitar of Sian Chandler and Ray Hughes make music that is aware of the weight of history upon it. Blending English pastoral sounds, passions of the Celtic fringe and the dark resonance of the American southeast, the result is never short of stunning. The duo, who have played together for years, made the decision to break away from other projects enabling them to concentrate on writing and performing their own material.
