Holy Vessels have spent the last two years honing their blend of psychedelia and roots-flavoured rock & roll onstage at festivals (Glastonbury, Big Chill and Lounge on The Farm among others), support slots with The Maccabees, Boy & Bear & Cloud Control, regular appearances at London and Brighton’s Communion nights, and 2011’s River Rat Pack Tour (previous alumni: Mumford & Sons, Golden Silvers, Sound of Rum, Bastille).

Their effortless blend of radio-friendly, country-tinged psychedelia forms the first side of their debut album ‘Last Orders At The Marshall Arms’. An independent recording made with producer and ex-Del Amitri guitarist Iain Harvie over a two-week period in a worn-out lambing shed in Cropredy, Oxfordshire, the album was mixed in Brighton by the band and producer Jag Jago, fresh from his work on The Maccabees’ recent hit record ‘Given To The Wild’.
